I’m the Founder of Heavyset and a Body Recomposition Specialist with over 20 years of strength training and bodybuilding experience. I stepped into coaching in 2020 as an extension of my own journey, driven by a desire to give back the knowledge and discipline that had shaped my life, particularly during a time when many people were struggling physically and mentally.
I’m known for a personable yet intense coaching style that blends precision with accountability. My decisions are data-driven and rooted in logic, not emotion or trends. There is no guesswork in my programming. Every variable, from exercise selection to execution and progression, has purpose behind it.
My approach goes beyond changing physiques. I focus on upgrading structure, habits, and mindset. Clients who work with me develop strength in more ways than one. They build muscle because they train with intent. They understand their bodies because they learn the “why” behind the method. From the bodybuilding stage to the boxing ring and across competitive sport, my background is built on performance, discipline, and elite standards.
My journey in sport began at six years old with basketball, reaching ABA level by 17. I stepped into amateur boxing at 12 and competed through to 25, alongside strong involvement in long-distance running and track and field throughout school. I became a certified personal trainer at 18, completed my sporting degree by 25, and transitioned into competitive bodybuilding soon after.
Since then, I’ve competed in 33 bodybuilding shows, secured 27 wins including 3 Australian titles, and built a reputation for developing high-performing athletes. I’ve coached thousands of clients and competitors, earning 44 pro cards, hundreds of first-place titles, and countless top-five finishes.
My coaching is built on mastering the basics, developing elite habits, and cultivating the mindset required to succeed at the highest level. I’m a personal trainer and women’s transformation coach who specialises in helping women transform their bodies and their confidence from the inside out. My passion is helping women discover a level of strength, self-belief, and resilience they never thought was possible.
My own journey into the gym reignited in 2018 at 39, when I knew I needed a new challenge and a new direction. After becoming a qualified personal trainer, I committed to transforming my own body in 2020, losing 10kg and stepping into the world of bodybuilding. In 2022, I competed in my first show, and in 2025, I proudly earned my Pro Card with Ms Fitness Australia.
Today, I primarily work with women aged 35+, particularly those navigating peri-menopause and menopause. Many come to me wanting weight loss, but what I teach them is far more powerful, building strength, lifting weights, nourishing their bodies properly, and rebuilding a healthy relationship with food and themselves.
My coaching style is empathetic, structured, and empowering. I understand what it feels like to be time-poor, frustrated with the scale, and disconnected from your own needs. I work with women who have spent years putting everyone else first, helping them build strength, gain structure, shift their mindset, and fall back in love with who they are. For me, transformation is not just physical. It is mental, emotional, and life-changing.
